Last week we viewed the homes that were restored after the 1984 Demolition Proposal Survey was taken. This week we will be viewing the homes that unfortunately weren't so lucky.

Lastly, we will look at the final homes that have yet to be identified. Do you recognize any of them? If so, please contact HSS so that we can add that information to our archives.

In conclusion, this anonymous survey provided us with a mixture of feelings. It provided us with a glimpse into this dark time in Springfield's history where the neighborhood took a turn into distress and despair. It forced us to mourn the homes that were lost along the way. More importantly, however, it gave us hope for the future of the derelict houses that are crying out to be saved and turned into homes again.
