After many decades of neglect, the residents and businesses of Historic Springfield are asking the City of Jacksonville to make an essential investment into the preservation and maintenance of the surviving parts of our Historic Parks infrastructure (circa 1904-1929). These structures, designed by Charles Imeson and Henry Klutho, are contained inside Confederate Park, Klutho Park, Springfield Park, and McPherson Park (the Springfield Historic District).

SIAA has provided an action plan identifying overdue maintenance and estimated costs for preventing further decline of these unique assets.
