The purpose of the Historic Springfield Community group is to foster neighborhood unity by promoting community events, requesting or providing assistance to our neighbors, and providing information of interest to the community as a whole. The Historic Springfield Community group is a service, which is maintained by Springfield Improvement Association and Archives.
Historic Springfield Home Tour
Enjoy the magic of Springfield’s historic homes, see their beautiful interiors, and listen to the walls whisper welcome during this two-night event that has taken place annually for over 30 years. You can tour the neighborhood by car, bike, or on foot while enjoying beautiful homes decked out for the holidays.
Historic Springfield Holiday Society
A group of Christmas and Holiday Addicts, Aficionados and Whovillians in Historic Springfield. We are committed to helping spread the Holiday Spirit and Cheer in Springfield and highlighting our beautiful community! Please feel free to add anyone who you think would love it!
Historic Springfield Main Street Cruise
Come and relive the 60's on Main Street in Historic Springfield. The Main Street Cruise happens on the fourth (fourth, not last!) Saturday of every month!

The Historic Springfield Garden Club group is for individuals who share a love of gardening, learning about plants, and are interested in improving green spaces in the neighborhood. The group is maintained by the Springfield Improvement Association and Archives.
Historic Springfield Online Yard Sale
A group for people in the Historic Springfield area to sell items they no longer want or need! Better than waiting for a yard sale to sell something unwanted. Safer, easier and cheaper than craigslist and eBay. Though we appreciate efforts made to earn money, this group is not for advertising businesses.
Historic Springfield Neighborhood Watch
This is a closed group for residents/homeowners or those with a vested interest in Springfield. The page was created to allow residents of SPR to discuss neighborhood safety, security, and help-a- neighbor-out issues.
Historic Springfield Residents and Business Owners
The greatest thing about Springfield is that neighbors are so diverse in ethnicity, economy, and opinion, while being united under the same "Springfield" banner. This is a discussion group that is open to current residents and business owners of the Springfield Historic District.
This group celebrates and manages the maintenance of the Rose Arbor in Confederate Park.
Springfield Emergency Planning
Neighbors are usually the “first responders” after disasters. This group provides a communication tool for the neighborhood.
A place for parents of children under 18 years of age who currently live or own property in historic Springfield to interact.
There are many artists and artisans in Springfield and the surrounding area of Jacksonville that create exceptional pieces and are unable to attend art shows or markets. This is a place for them to showcase their creations, websites and contact information.

Enhancing the quality of life in Historic Springfield through beautifying its public spaces, providing volunteer service, and educating the community, while preserving its history. The SIAA Facebook page provides timely information, event posts, and a communication venue for residents and interested community members.
A neighborhood kitten rescue with the primary focus of helping kittens that are not taken by the shelters; primarily feral kittens over 2lbs.
Springfield Preservation and Revitalization
The mission of SPAR is to ensure Historic Springfield is a preferred place to live and do business by leading programs that drive the preservation, revitalization, and balanced growth of our community. Springfield Area Merchants & Business Association
SAMBA supports commercial revitalization, strengthens business activity and provides a forum for business improvement in the Springfield area of Jacksonville, Florida.
Established in April of 2012, the Springfield Skillet has grown and changed with the neighborhood. A monthly gathering, hosted by neighbors who volunteer their home, we meet together for an evening of delicious food and great company. Each month has a theme to challenge the attendees, but the rewarding part is dining on all the wonderful dishes you're introduced to each month and getting to know your neighbors in the comfort of their own homes. Sustainable Springfield is a 501c3 non-profit in Historic Springfield. We are working to turn local liabilities into local assets. Our first project was to turn a vacant blighted lot in to a vibrant Community Garden. The community garden was very successful and received a Keep Jacksonville Beautiful Award from the Mayor in 2010.
